The most popular natural sites are Cerro El Volador and Cerro Nutibara.

A new park opened a few years ago, Arvi Regional Park, and with close to 20,000 hectares, it includes practically the whole town of Santa Elena, extending between the municipalities of Bello, Copacabana, Guarne and Envigado.

In December, the city is covered with thousands of colored lights, the famous Christmas lights, considered by National Geographic to be one of the ten most beautiful in the world;138 the best place to see them is on Avenida la Playa and from the Medellin river.
